Hyderabad Futsal League begins from today

The top fourteen teams from the twin cities will be seen in action when the second season of the Hyderabad Futsal Leagues (HFL) gets underway on August 19.

Speaking to media persons, Naved Keshwani, Director, HFL said “a total of 182 games will be played over six weeks across nine grounds. The matches will be played on weekends and each team will play 26 matches of which 13 will be played at their home ground.”

The champion will be given be richer by Rs two lakh while the runner-up will get Rs one lakh. Meanwhile, Murad Jasani, Founder-CEO pointed out that a knockout trophy will be held later featuring the same 14 teams. HFL will conduct similar tournaments in Pune and Bangalore.

“The champions from three cities will qualify for the India Futsal Champions League, which will be held in March,” he said.
Teams: The Allegiance, Nemesis, Deccan Sporting, Hexa United, Rossoneri, Quicksilver, Gunners FC, Friends FC, United Studs FC, Ze Marooned FC, The Invincibles, Vipers FC,The Outlaws, Blasters United.
