Morocco crowned African championsBy
Driss TalmoustMorocco were crowned African Champions after beating Egypt for the first time since 1996 and their victory secured qualification for the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia later this year.
This success is due to the support of the Moroccan federation and stability of personnel within the technical staff.
In 2010 a national championship began and since then the national team has competed in many tournaments and friendly fixtures. The aim will now be to use this a foundation to perform well in Colombia.
