Year 2000. Few websites, no youtube highlights, social networks still unknown. And the first edition of an "innocent game" started just in order to focus the spotlights on our idols. Futsal players, and then coaches, clubs, national teams. Men, women, youth futsal. Who's gonna believe in futsal if not even people belonging to it are supporting the game? So, that was the idea. His Majesty Manoel Tobias, the first winner: who else at that time?

But time flies. So now you have thousands of futsal media, games streamed live, a life "shared" on line as soon as it happens. And, in the meanwhile, the "innocent game" turned into a 16th years old boy. And, frankly speaking, we're proud of it. Cause the mission is still there: celebrating the best of futsal, from the point of view of an independent web site.

Proud, yes! Cause running something on the initial enthusiasm or "enjoying" a rich budget it's easy, but doing that counting almost only on your futsal addiction means a big win at least to us!

What was this boring premise for? Well, obviously to introduce the 16th edition of the Futsalplanet.com Awards, the most traditional prizes of futsal!
