PFL Village to highlight National Coaches Convention

The combination of five futsal brands creates more than a simple booth; the partnership forms a Futsal Village.

The Professional Futsal League along with league partners UN1TUS, Kelme, Mitre and ESPN Deportes will present the PFL Futsal Village at the 2016 National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s annual convention.

The NSCAA convention is celebrating its 75th year with its annual gathering January 14-16, 2016 in Baltimore.

PFL investor Brian Dick said it’s an exciting time for the young league, which held its first public appearance at the 2015 NSCAA convention.

“It has been less than one year since we announced the launch of the league. However, in this short period of time we have achieved so many exciting milestones for the league and sport of futsal,” Dick said. “We held an exhibition featuring FC Barcelona that broke the North American attendance records, highlighted one of the world’s greatest players, Falcao, at our exhibition in Disneyworld, and promoted the growth of the sport in the U.S. in so many ways.

“Now we are headed back to the NSCAA bringing our PFL Futsal Village that will highlight our league, partners, and educate coaches and players about this exciting sport.”

PFL Commissioner Keith Tozer and President Michael Hitchcock will join Dick and other members of the PFL staff to promote the sport and league in the PFL Futsal Village. The PFL will also host a VIP Party at the National Aquarium at the Baltimore Inner Harbor for soccer/futsal leaders and sponsors.

Commissioner Tozer stands as a veteran of NSCAA conventions during his storied coaching career.

“The PFL Futsal Village provides yet another opportunity to spread the PFL message of growing the sport of futsal in North America,” Tozer said. “We are thrilled to spend the week meeting with the soccer community including soccer leaders both nationally and internationally as well as league investors, sponsors, coaches, media and the fans of the game. We are very proud also to be able to do so with our corporate partners in UN1TUS, Kelme, Mitre and ESPN Deportes.”
