Great news for the Spanish National Team as José Venancio López Hierro has renewed his contract as Head Coach until July 2017. This means he will take the team to the next two major championships, EURO 2016 and the Futsal World Cup 2016.

He has had a successful spell since he took over in 2007, maintaining Spain´s position as one of the world´s strongest futsal nations. He has taken the team for 134 matches, with victories in 122. Under his management ´La Roja´ has won 3 European Championships and 2 World Cup runner ups medals as well as breaking Brazil´s hegemony at their home Grand Prix with victory in 2010.
