Dynamo to remain in pole position

Dynamo stormed into the Russian Championship playoff after overturning Yamal 9-3 and securing first place in the regular phase.

Fernandinho, Fernandão, and Anatoliy Badretdinov hit nine goals to condemn Yamal to a painful defeat.

Thanks to this win, Dynamo all but mathematically wrapped up the Russian Championship regular phase victory.

With only one game of the regular phase to come, and with Dynamo 5 point better off than Gazprom-YUGRA, the regular phase victory is as effectively theirs.
