Women’s Futsal: First historical training camp for the Azzurre

Women’s Futsal fans will have to save the date: On Wednesday 28th January, the Azzurre will meet at the Novarello - Villaggio Azzurro sports centre, near Novara, for their first, historical training camp. Roberto Menichelli, who is also Head Coach of Italy’s Men’s Futsal team, will be there to welcome them.

A training session on Wednesday and two sessions on Thursday are on the schedule. The first two sessions will be done behind closed doors, but fans can attend the third one on Thursday afternoon. Only players from the Women’s Serie A Group A will take part in this camp, while players from Group B and C will participate in the two following camps, which are scheduled for the 3rd and 4th February at the PalaWojtyla in Martina Franca and for the 3rd and 4th March (location to be decided yet).

The players who will attend the Novarello camp will be announced on 24th January live on RaiSport 2, during half time of the first Winter Cup semi-final at the Pala San Quirico in Asti (kick-off at 17:15 CET).
