Baku United will face Helvecia in the semi-final of the FA National Futsal League Grand Finals on Saturday 31st May. The game will take place at The National Football Centre in Burton-Upon-Trent and the winner will face the victorious side from the other semi-final between Manchester Futsal Club and Loughborough.
Baku are the current champions having beat Helvecia in the final last year on penalties. The side is in excellent form having remained undefeated for 18 months and their preparations have been planned so that they reach the Grand Finals in peak form. If the manage to retain their title, the club, sponsored by Azerbaijani organisation Odlar Yurdu Organisation, will enter the UEFA Futsal Cup in the 2014-15 season.
General Director, Oleksandr Saliy, said “We are looking forward to the Grand Finals. Helvecia is a very strong team but we believe in ourselves. We will go into the game with maximum concentration and determination to win in order to try to arrive at the final and be able to defend our title.”
