AGLA & LUPARENSE – The Journey ContinuesLUPARENSE, sponsored by AGLA, did enough in the 2nd game of the quarter finals to qualify but it wasn’t easy! After the success in the Lazio region, Colini’s squad just had to avoid defeat against Real Rieti in the next match. They managed a difficult 2-2 draw after neither team had opened the scoring at half-time. A magnificent goal by Nora broke the deadlock with a left foot volley from a Merlim corner. AGLA ENDORSED CREMA then got the equaliser for Rieti and they followed with a goal from Rescia which would take it to the 3rd game. LUPARENSE employed the fly goalkeeper to find the equaliser and Nora found the net with 23 seconds left on the clock.
Now LUPARENSE will face a strong Asti, who finished first in the regular season to earn home advantage. The first match is scheduled for 15th May at 20.30 in Veneto with live coverage on Rai Sport 2. The other semi-final will be played on the same day at 20.00 between Lazio and Acqua & Sapone Pescara.
