AGLA Key In Italian Cup Finals

The Italian Cup Serie A in both mens, womens and U21s was a great success for the fans and was perfectly organised in Montesilvano and Pescara. There were filled halls and lots of interest in the sport of futsal that is increasingly popular. In the Serie A male competition, LUPARENSE were stopped from achieving their dream of winning their 2nd Italian Cup in a row at the semifinal stage. LUPARENSE reached the U21 Italian Cup Final after eliminating DHS Napoli 4-1 in the quarterfinals and beating Acireale 5-3 on penalties in the semi-finals.

In the women’s event, the title quest of MONTESILVANO didn’t last long and they were knocked out in the quarter finals. Francesca Salvatore’s girls fell in the penalty shoot out 5-3 to Lazio Bcc Roma. Lazio went on to win the title after destroying Ternana 7-1 in the final..
