Uefa European Futsal scores Eurosport backing

Eurosport has become a national sponsor of the ongoing 2014 Uefa European Futsal Championship.

The 12-team event got underway in Antwerp, Belgium, the 2013 European Capital of Sport, on 28th January. The group stages will be held at the 5,000-capacity Lotto Arena and the knockout rounds at the 15,000-seat Sportpaleis.

Eurosport is also the event’s host broadcaster and will air all 20 matches live on its Eurosport and Eurosport 2 television channels.

The reigning tournament champions are six-time winners Spain.
