Exeter City FCOpen event for BTEC course6th January 2014See for yourself about futsal and educationExeter City FC is holding an open event for current Year 11 and 12 students, male and female, to find out more about their BTEC Futsal and Education programme run by Football in the Community.
The full-time course is a two-year Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport, which is equivalent to three A-Levels and run in conjunction with Exeter College. Education is based in the club’s Virtual Learning Environment at St James Park and also includes several hours of futsal training per week, plus fixtures against other professional football clubs. The course is a fully-funded scholarship course, so there are no tuition fees to pay.
The open event for entry in September 2014 will be held in the Grecian Centre at St James Park on Saturday 18th January 2014 at 2pm, ahead of the match against Morecambe which kicks off at 3pm. Refreshments will also be provided, as will a match ticket for potential students and a parent should they wish to stay for the game.
