Lenisio, one of the game's most historic players, is planning to come out of retirement to play in the World University Championships that will be held in Malaga, Spain in 2014.

Lenisio ended his stunning career last year after continual injury problems with his knee. The World Cup champion resumed studying Physical Education, which he had stopped to concentrate on his futsal career, at the University of Paulista. The university sponsor the futsal section of Corinthians with whom Lenisio become assistant coach after retiring and has a contract until the end of this year.

Lenisio has revealed his desire to represent his university and said "I really want to play in this tournament". Futsal fans will be hoping they get to glimpse the magical talents of this 'craque' in the futsal court one more time. It would be a return to Spain for the player who once played for El Pozo Murcia and Polaris World Cartagena during his career.
