Dennis FujimotoLIHUE — Jacob Grossmann and Kainoa Silva scored goals for Keahi BU8 in its 2-1 edge over the Lihue Arsenal BU8 on Sunday.
The win at North Vidinha in the Kauai Soccer Association fall league gives Keahi top seeding for the playoffs that start Sunday.
Under 10
Kaya Camara scored the only goal in the Lihue Cougars GU1O’s 1-0 edge over Keahi GU10, the win giving the Cougars top seeding in the Girls Under 10 division and wrapping up its regular season with a 7-0-1 record and 22 points in the standings.
Keahi GU10 drops to 4-3-1 and 13 points to receive the No. 4 seed in the division.
Kayley Gardner and Mia Matsunaga netted goals to give Makani GU10 a 3-1 edge over the Kalaheo Fire GU10 who got its goal from Adriana Hernandez.
Makani GU10 finishes season play with a 5-3-0 record and 15 points for the No. 3 seed while the Kalaheo Fire GU10 wrapped up its season play with a 2-5-1 record and seven points.
Futsal Kauai A GU10 secured the No. 2 seed after battling Futsal Kauai B GU10 to a 1-1 deadlock, Kai-Lee Kupihea scoring the Futsal Kauai A goal and Kaualani Kaai getting the net for Futsal Kauai B.
The Boys Under 10 teams all enjoyed byes Sunday. The NS Nation FC BU10 gets the top seed in the division with a 7-0-1 record followed by Makani BU10 getting the No. 2 seed. The Lihue Arsenal BU9 is the No. 3 seed and Rush BU10 gets the No. 4 seed.
Under 12Lucas Anakalea, Kawai Beeby and Noa Harrison netted goals to lead the NS Nation FC BU12 to its 3-0 win over Team Onipaa ’03 Boys BU11.
The win gives the NS Nation a 4-3-1 record and 13 points for the No. 2 seed in the division while the Onipaa ’03 drops to 3-3-2 and 11 points for the No. 3 seed.
Team Onipaa ’02 Boys BU12 improved to 7-0-1 and 22 points and the top seed in the division with its 6-0 win over the Rush BU12.
Kane Casillas netted a hat trick, or three goals scored, with Benjamin Griep, Jonathan Hine and Mason Hunt adding goals for the Onipaa ’02.

Futsal Kauai GU12, enjoying a bye Sunday, gets the top seed in the division with a 7-0-1 record while the Cougars GU11 ends 4-3-1 for the No. 2 seed and the NS Nation GU12 gets the No. 3 seed.
Under 14April Barnes netted a hat trick and Tia Fulks added a goal to lead the Rush GU14 to a 4-1 win over Pohaku GU14, Deshaynee Iseri-Carvalho getting the Pohaku goal.
The win puts the Rush GU12 at 7-1-0 for top seeding in the division while Pohaku drops to 5-2-1 and the No. 2 seed.
The NS Nation FC GU14 draws the No. 3 seed after battling Team Onipaa GU14 to a 1-1 deadlock and giving Team Onipaa GU14 a 1-6-1 record for the No. 4 seed.
Kela Wood scored the NS Nation goal while Kassidie Bukoski netting the Team Onipaa goal.
Kehela Ventura netted a hat trick and Maka Bailey added a goal to lead Rush BU14 to a 4-1 win over Team Onipaa ’00 Boys BU14 who got its goal from Benjamin Griep.
The Rush win preserves its undefeated record at 8-0 and earns the top seed in the age division while Team Onipaa drops to 3-5 and the No. 4 seed.
Under 16Justin Franklin, Tiernan Kehoe, and Joshua Layaoen led the Rush North BU16 to a 3-2 edge over Keahu BU16 who got both goals from Isaiah Duldulao.
The win gives Rush North Blue BU16 a 6-1-1 record and top seeding in the division while Keahi BU gets the No. 3 seed. Rush North White BU16 is the No. 2 seed with a 5-2-1 record.
Under 18 GirlsA double forfeit by the Warrior Nation GU18 gives the Kauai Sparks GU18 top billing in the division with a 7-1-0 record.
The second forfeit gives Rush GU18 a 5-3-0 record while the Warrior Nation drops to 0-8.
Playoffs start at 11 a.m. Sunday at the North Vidinha fields.
