FUTSAL BISCEGLIE chooses AGLA

The new plan for FUTSAL BISCEGLIE signed by President LUCIANO SCIACQUA is ambitious. The current management team at the helm of the Apulian club, that plays in Group E of Serie B since last season, has a clear vision; To be top of the league. The blue and blacks have reinforced in all positions and could be one of the favourites for the championship. This year the club has launched a kit supplier partnership with AGLA to give a touch of quality and class to their season

President SCIACQUA, are you satisfied with the draw in Ginvinazzo’s hall?

“I think it is a small slip up. For the players we have and the expectations for this year I thought we would win easily. The game, however, was more tricky than we expected. The court was small, the fans were loud and it was our first game. We created lots of chances to finish the game and we didn’t take advantage of them while they had two shots on goal and scored. At least these were own goals."

Regarding expectations, what are your objectives for the season?

“Doing better than last year where we finished third in the championship and reached the group stage of the Coppa Italia. Unfortunately we were knocked out of the playoffs for promotion in the first round by Molfetta, and in the cup we were eliminated by dall’Elmas. We want to take a few steps forward, although we are aware there are many unknowns; Injuries, suspensions and opponents. Games are won and lost on the court.”

Who is the favourites in Group E?

“In my opinion they are Policoro and Sporting Gala Consillina, the latter we face at home on Saturday.”

How would you rate the level of futsal in Puglia?

"The level is good. The geography of Italian futsal has changed. Previously Abruzzo, Marche, Lazio and a clove of Veneto excelled but now Puglia can have its say. Currently we have Martina in Serie A and Fuente Lucera and Salinis Margherita di Savola in Serie A2. Until two years ago the best team of Bisceglie, Putignano, was in Serie A. For at least a decade good futsal has been played here.”

How did the idea to start a partnership with AGLA come about?

“We were aware of this company for several years but we decided to begin a collaboration when we heard they had signed an agreement with the national futsal league as a kit supplier. Moreover, they have offered an agreement which we could not decline.”

What do you think of AGLA products?

“They are high quality, especially the balls.”

AGLA is collaborating with Divisione Calcio A 5 (Italian 1st Division) through the provision of equipment and they have initiated an interesting, innovative and experimental project called LO CALCIO 5. The project's objective is to start futsal schools through the clubs of Serie A, Serie A2 and Serie B. A 'Lo Calcio a 5 Technical Guide' has been produced that provides information of the technical fundamentals of futsal. The book has been illustrated with simple drawings, pictures and diagrams. AGLA is supporting this project with clothing and bags.

AGLA has also agreed a partnership with the L'UNIONE ITALIANA SPORT PER TUTTI and with CIRCUITO 24HR, two organisations that arrange futsal events in sport facilities located throughout the whole of Italy.
AGLA organises special events at stores called AGLA DAY. These aim is to provide information on AGLA products with the presence of AGLA PLAYERS. With over 100 of these it is an opportunity to find out about the players' direct experience of our products and all the various features they include
