A delegation from ALTER EGO LUPARENSE was received in Venice in the Ferro Fini Palace by the President of the regional council, Clodovaldo Ruffato. After winning the Italian Super Cup and the visit of Ruffato to LUPARENSE DAY on September 15th, the club’s president Steffano Zarattini led the staff members and players for an official appointment at the headquarters of the Veneto region.
There was the coach Fulvio Collini, players from the first team, councillers; Guido Bernardi, Filippo Grasso, Angelo Fiorese, General Secretary Andrea Franceschini, director Davide Greggio, Eros Pilotto from Excó and Marino Fiorese from Fiorese S.p.A; partners of the club. The group could not miss the opportunity to see the trophy that had just been captured; the Italian Super Cup 2013.
President Ruffato commented “Sport is a training ground for life for young people where, in addition to the values of healthy and fair competition, you learn sacrifice and commitment and, in particular, for the ability to work in a team together to achieve a common goal. Credit is due to President Zarattini for creating a team and club where team spirit and enthusiasm have enabled them to win, in only a few years, as many as 13 national titles. Thank you to them for having contributed so much value and prestige in the name of Venetto.”
On behalf of the whole club the club president expressed his happiness “for this visit, which brings recognition and pride in Europe to the name of San Martino in the province of Padua and everyone in Veneto.” Speaking about the upcoming championship Zarattini said that “It will not be easy to win because there are 10 very competitive squads with very high budgets that we don’t have but we will try to compensate with our enthusiasm and team work.” After the meeting Zarattini handed president Ruffato and brand new ALTO EGO LUPARENSE match shirt from the 2013-14 season and received a pennant of the Veneto region.
Important recognition for Fulvio Colini during Futsal Day, a day dedicated to futsal, which was held in the beautiful surroundings of the Casa del Cinema in Villa Borghese in Rome. The LUPARENSE coach was one of the ‘Gold Coaches’ of the last season for being the winner of the Italian Cup and Super Cup with the Venetian club. The event, expertly led by Rai Sport’s Deputy Directo Jacopo Volpi also featured the presentation of the Winter Cup, a new competition established by Divisone Calcio a 5.
