In the quarter final game between Al Saad v Lelmakassa it was the team from Qatar that scored first and put the pressure on the Egyptians. However in the second half the game was very equal with Lelmakassa scoring the equaliser. With the score at 1-1, the final whistle blew and penalties was required to find a winner. It was Lelmakassa that were victorious, winning 3-1 in the spot kicks, and they qualified for the semi final.

In the match that would decide the team that would meet Lelmakassa it was Santiago v Pinocho. At half time the tournament favourites from Spain were losing 2-1. However their quality showed in the second half and they managed to take the lead and the game ended 4-3 with Argentinian team leaving the competition.

In other news a delegation from The AFC were welcomed to the tournament by Sheikh Talal Al Mohammed. The invitees included Mr. Ali Targholizade and Mr. Hisham who witnessed both the above games which were very entertaining
