Gulf Daily NewsBAHRAIN's Muharraq Club are set to take on Croatia's MNK Alumnus tonight in the quarter-finals of the
Mini World Futsal Club Tournament, being held in
Kuwait City.
The match is scheduled to be the second of the round of eight. Muharraq's tie is scheduled for a 5pm kick-off this evening.
Another quarter-final will be held today. It will be between Cardinal of Ukraine and Al Qadsia of Kuwait, and it is scheduled for a 3.50pm kick-off.
The other two quarter-final match-ups pit Al Sadd of Qatar against Misr Elmaqasah of Egypt, and Santiago Futsal of Spain battling Deprtivo Pinocho of Argentina.
Muharraq are being coached by Bahrain's national futsal team tactician Gustavo Zloccowick and are skippered by Bahrain national team star Mohammed Abdulrahman, known more popularly in Bahrain simnply as "Ringo".
Muharraq made it through to the quarter-finals after finishing with a neat 2-1 win-loss record and topping group 'B', ahead only of Pinocho who were second on goal-difference.
