Day 1 Preview

Today will see the first game in the tournament with two games from Group A, Al Nasser against Cardinal and Mist Al Makassa against Huila. Two competitive fixtures are expected and, it is hoped, some wonderful futsal to open the competition.

The arab sides have many quick and skilful players and they will try to defeat their opponents with quick attacks and 1v1 battles. Cardinal is an experienced team and they will hope this will help them take victory in their first game. The South American side have a lot of ability in their ranks and won’t make it easy for their opponents from Saudi Arabia.

In other news Sheikh Talal Al Mohammad visited the section of special photos of Sheikh Essa Bin Rashed at the Regency Hotel where the teams are staying. He was very impressed with the pictures on display. Sheikh Essa Bin Rashed left for Bahrain yesterday but expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Talal Mohammad for the invitation and wished Kuwait more success and progress.
