Dirty nutmeg pulled off by Dyego of Joinville on Bipe of Florianopolis

There is nothing worse for a football player than being embarrassed so comprehensively by an opponent that even your own teammates can’t help but laugh.

This is what happened during the recent futsal match in Brazil between Joinville and Florianopolis, which the former eventually ran out 2-0 winners.


Dyego of Joinville received the ball just inside the area on the left, when Bipe of Florianopolis tracked back to confront him.

Dyego waited for his opponent to approach, kept his foot on the ball but held it out invitingly for a challenge and, when the challenger arrived, rolled it calmly between Bipe’s legs.

It was a sensational piece of skill Bipe was left looking red-faced afterwards – it’s hard not to when someone has just sold you a dirty nutmeg.
