Greensboro to host Intercontinental Futsal Cup

Kids from the Piedmont love their soccer, but now they’re being introduced to a different version of the game they love–Futsal.
A Futsal team from Greensboro will join about 40 other teams at the Greensboro Coliseum from Florida, California, New York and Texas to compete in a qualifier for the World Futsal Cup in Spain this winter.

The kids’ team competition will be held in the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center, but just down the hall in the main arena, some of the best players in the world will be competing in the International Futsal Cup.
