Preparations for Mini Club World Cup Continue

Kuwait set to host a festival of futsal ...
Since the official draw the organising for the Mini Club World Cup in Kuwait continues at a fast pace with no rest for the Organising Committee.

The hall at Kazma SC has been fitted with the most modern court surface ready for the action to begin on 6th July. It is the first time it will be used and has FIFA’s seal of approval.

The giant screens that will be placed around the city have arrived and this will include a screen in Hall 2 as the main hall has a maximum capacity of 1800.

The Australian company is about to begin rehearsals for the opening ceremony, they had the same responsibility at the 2000 Olympics and 2006 Asian games. There will be six rehearsals in total which shows that their ambitions are set high.

Legends of Arab football were at Kuwait FA Headquarters after being welcomed by Sheik Dr. Talal Al Fahad Al Sabah and Sheik Talal Al Moahammad where they discussed football from the past and present.
The official draw has been praised by those in attendance for its organisation and entertainment value. The media and the club representatives have commented on the excellent hospitality that they experienced.

The interest from the media has been very encouraging and many prominent media figures have spoke about how impressed they were with the event. Comments have included praise about the mascot, the attendance of the football stars and how enjoyable it was. Famous media personality Mohammad Shabana said that the draw ceremony surmounted many ceremonies made by continental confederations.

The excitement and anticipation for this event continues to grow and as all the preparations go on behind the scenes the fans cannot wait for the action on the court to begin.
