The new era of Polish Futsal

If you look at recent times, you should soon realize that being the coach of the Polish National Team is one of the hardest works in the world. Klaudiusz Hirsch, who resigned in April after the "Zrenjanin failure", is just the last name of a huge series of head coaches appointed in the last years.

But now it's time for the next bet, the italian one. Andrea Bucciol is the new head coach of Poland, few days after winning an historical cup title with his former club (Adam Kryger will replace him on the bench) Rekord Bielsko-Biala.

Emblematic words, the ones pronounced by Andrea Bucciol after claiming the cup title with Rekord Bielsko-Biala: "I'm out of words, as this was my last game with Rekord. I have to thank club president Janusz Szymura who trusted in me 3,5 years ago when I was totally unknown in futsal in Italy as well in Poland"

Unknown or not (he has previous experiences in Italy with Manzano as physical trainer, goalkeepers coach and then assistant coach, for instance) this seems to be a huge achievement for a coach who moved four years ago in Poland due to work reasons and will now take charge of the national team. Not a bad debut though: Poland 6, Malaysia 1.

Sometimes big bets bring great results, good luck to Andrea and Poland.
