Saudi’s HH Prince Faisal, futsal delegation meet

The recent meeting of the Chairman of Saudi’s Al-Nasr Football Club HH Prince Faisal Turki Nasser Al Saud with the delegation from FUTSAL yielded a positive outcome. The meeting was held at HH Prince Faisal’s palace in Riyadh with the intention of establishing Al-Nasr Club’s support in the international indoors football championship for minors scheduled to take place in Kuwait from 1st -18th day of the holy month of Ramadan.

HH Prince Faisal affirmed his club’s support for a successful tournament, in addition to facilitating its accomplishment. HH Prince Faisal Al-Saud also accepted an invitation to attend the tournament, along with a delegation from Al-Nasr Club that will be representing Saudi Arabia in the championship.

The delegation which consisted of committee chairman Sheikh Talal Al-Muhammad has accepted invitation from Al-Nasr Football Club chairman HH Prince Faisal to visit the club and promote the championship in Saudi Arabia. The meeting was also attended by officials from Al-Nasr Football Club and ambassadors of the championship-Saudi’s football star Majid Abdullah, Qatar’s Khalid Salman, and Kuwait’s Golden Age former football superstar Muhammad Karam who was with the Kuwaiti delegation, plush other officials for the championship and media personnel.

Among topics discussed at the meeting was the financial reward for winning teams, which was quoted as half a million US dollars. The organizing committee will shoulder all expenses for the participating teams from ticket to accommodation. In a press conference at the headquarters of Al-Nasr Sports Club, HH Prince Faisal added the tournament will achieve unprecedented success, based on the efforts of the organizing committee which has gone to any length to ensure the best achievement in the tournament. The Kuwaiti delegation had earlier met the Head of Saudi Arabia Football Federation Ahmad Eid at the federation’s headquarters and later given out invitation to high ranking officials in the Saudi football to attend the tournament.
