Bahrain News AgencyFawaz Bin Mohammed receives an Invitation to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Mini World Futsal Club Tournament in Kuwait03/06/2013Manama, June 3rd (BNA) –Minister of State for Communications Affairs, Shaikh Fawaz Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received today the President of the Supreme Organizing Committee of Mini World Futsal Club Tournament, Shaikh Talal Al Mahammad Al Sabah on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom, where he presented an invitation to Shaikh Fawaz to attend the opening ceremony of the Tournament hosted by Kuwait form 6 to 26 of next July.
Shaikh Fawaz welcomed Shaikh Talal, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the kind invitation and his great efforts in the preparation and organization of that World Tournament, and working to enhance its success. Shaikh Fawaz also lauded the strength of the historical and brotherly relations bonding the two countries and their people, and the progress and development they witness in all areas, particularly the youth and sports.
Shaikh Fawaz wished all success for the officials in charge of the Tournament, highlighting his full confidence of their capability of their great experience and qualified cadres to promote the success of such World event.
For his part, Shaikh Talal Al Mahammad Al Sabah expressed his great thanks and appreciation for the Minister of State for Communications Affairs for the great welcome he received, which reflected the strong and brotherly relationships that gather Kingdom of Bahrain with Kuwait, and the kinship relations that also gathers their peoples.

Bahrain News AgencyAl Jowder receives an invitation to attend the Mini World Clubs Futsal03/06/2013Manama, June 3 (BNA) -- On behalf of General Organization for Youth and Sports President Hisham Mohamed Al Jowder, Youth and Sports Affairs Director General Abdulrahman Askar received an invitation to attend the Mini World Clubs Futsal Tournament.
The three-week competition is scheduled to take place in Kuwait from July 6 to 26 with 16 clubs from all over the world in the fray. Muharraq will be the only representative from Bahrain in this major international challenge.
This came during Askar’s meeting with tournament director Khalid Habib and Media Committee chairman Fawaz Al Sharif of Kuwait.
The visitors presented a briefing on the tournament rules and the organizing committee preparations with one month remaining.
Askar expressed appreciation to Shaikh Talal bin Mohammed Al Sabah, head of the organizing committee of the tournament, for his efforts to make this event an all-round success, expressing full confidence in the ability of Kuwait in hosting this major sports gathering.
The Director General of Youth and Sports Affairs emphaised Bahrain’s interest in providing various forms of support and assistance to their brothers in Kuwait and to the organizing committee to ensure the succession of this tournament.
On his part, Habib said the idea of hosting a mini futsal championship is in line with the directives of the Amir of Kuwait His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
He said Kuwait’s bid and efforts to host the competition was admired by high-ranking sports officials from FIFA and Asian Football Confederation, being presided by Bahraini Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa.
Habib noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain support to the championship is highly appreciated by the organizing committee, and emphasized that all preparations are going according to than plan set up in advance by the organizing committee, which has developed a comprehensive plan in this regard.
