Pablo Prieto signs for Al Wahda in Abu Dhabi

The Spanish coach, with broad experience both at national and international level, will begin a new adventure in Abu Dhabi, in the club Al Wahda. After weighing up various offers, the Galician coach decided to accept the Asian proposal. The club wanted a Spanish coach with prestige and experience from the start to begin a project that will develop futsal in the region.

Prieto, after leaving the Libyan national team with whom he competed in the last World Cup, assumes a new challenge in his sporting career. He will start his work from the very basic foundations, as much in organisation as structural, but at the same time it is an exciting proposition.

Pablo Prieto is a coach used to building the foundations, a fundamental aspect why he choose to accept this offer ahead of other, more established, projects and in that respect they could be considered more appealing. Within the backroom staff Pablo Prieto will have Álvaro Lezáun, ex – fitness coach of the Kuwait national team beside him.
