Your best match
"That was for Polignano against Giovinazzo in serie B during the 2007-2008 season. It was a special match for me. I had started the season with Polignano and then I left them and moved to Giovinazzo. On the eve of that game the two teams were at the top of the league, level on points. We managed to win that game 5-1 and I scored the goal to equalise. That success paved the way for us to earn promotion to Serie A".

Your biggest regret
"I've had many. The biggest is that I have never won a championship nor a major trophy in Serie A. I have been in Italy for eight seasons and I only reached a semi-final of the Italian Cup Serie A with BNL."

Your favourite skill
"I like the double step-over. I can do it fast and I have long legs so with this movement I can often go past my opponent directly."

"In Italy, pasta with tomato and a slice of chicken breast or alternatively ham and cheese. In Brazil, as we played in the evening, at lunch I ate a nice steak. It contains protein and is satisfying."

"I will tell you three. Junior from Montesilvano because he is very technical and possesses a lot of quality. Rubei Andrea who was the greatest Italian player of all time, he had great physical strength and remarkable tactical acumen. Finally Foglia for ease with which he went past his opponent with his dribbling. When he wants he is able to just change the game. It's very difficult to stop. "

"Nando Grana because we were very close, especially in the year when I moved to Italy and Gianluca Plini ( AGLA representative coach) because when we were at BNL he always gave me useful advice."
