Phuket receives new public futsal pitch

On 24th April 2013, Mr Anun Bunjerdtum – Director and General Manager of Marketing & Sales Mitsubishi Electric Kang Yong Watana Co Ltd and Mr Pornsak Sa-Ngiamkul – Assistant Sales Manager KEEHIN Co Ltd delivered a new futsal pitch to Phuket City Mayor – Somjai Suwansupana at the Mitsubishi Electric Futsal Field in Saphan Hin Park.

Mr Anun said “Mitsubishi Electric Kang Yong Watana has been a distributor of electric equipment for about 40 years and we understand about the need for us to partake in corporate social responsibility activities and also to reward our customers. We believe that sports are essential to every community and in the past we have organized the “Mitsubishi Electric Run for Health” charity sport event in the Phuket, Phitsanulok, Surat Thani, Karnjanaburi, Muang Pattaya, Chiang Rai and Bangkok provinces to encourage the public to exercise for health. With the money we collect from entry fees at each province’s event, and with a contribution from our company, we provide something which we believe is in the province’s public interest.

For Phuket City, we have given an international standard outdoor futsal pitch which has cost 1.6 million baht and will benefit Phuket’s citizens.”
