The FA Futsal Super League beckons for National League Futsal teams this weekend
This weekend sees the start of the inaugural FA National League Super League, with the best 12 teams testing their skills against each other for a place in the Grand Finals later this year.
The Super League format has been introduced this season to provide teams in The FA National League with a continued level of competition as they battle for the right to be crowned national champions.
Teams from the North, Midlands and South National Leagues will compete in four groups of three teams, which are as follows:-
Group A: Sheffield FC, Oxford City Lions FC, Baltic United. Group B: Helvecia, Manchester Futsal Club, Birmingham Futsal Club. Group C: Team Bath, Middlesbrough, London United Futsal Club. Group D: Baku United, Loughborough Student Futsal Club, CYDC Leeds Futsal Club.
Following the Super League, the winning club from each group will then head to The FA National Futsal League Grand Finals to compete for the right to be crowned champions and represent England in the UEFA Futsal Cup.
