Turkey qualifiers for Community Trust staff member.

The club would like to wish Bristol City Community Trust educational scholarship lead Ian Parkes as he attempts to help England Futsal qualify for the European Championships.

The striker was part of the national futsal squad that overcame Lithuania and Cyprus in February to make it through to the Main Qualifying Round.

Parkes is now in Turkey for a four-team round-robin, where there is the chance to book a spot in the 2014 European Championships, to be held in Belgium.

By reaching the Main Qualifying Round, England Futsal have already ventured into new territory.

They face Ukraine today (March 27th), Turkey tomorrow (March 28th) and Slovenia on Saturday (March 30th).

Parkes joined the Trust in 2011 to strengthen its educational arm, and plays for Team Bath Fustal.
