FBSB B and Fast Trek FC clinch futsal titles

MIRI: Highly fancied Fatimah Bersatu Sdn Bhd B (FBSB B) emerged as champion again in the Futsal Mesra Belia 2013 tournament (Baram Division) after a tough final match against Panna FT at Miri Indoor Stadium here recently.
FBSB took home RM 800 cash prize, trophy and medals, while Panna FT have to be satisfied with second place receiving RM 500 cash, a trophy and also medals.
The third place went to team Hazzard who took away RM 300 cash, a trophy and also medals.
In the ladies category, Fast Trek FC took the title through a 5-4 penalty win over Mixture FC.
Third place went to Sparkles who beat team Awi Jenggot 2-0.
The three teams received RM 500 cash, RM 300 and RM 150 respectively, in addition to trophies and medals.
A total of 58 teams took part in the tournament.
Present to witness the final was Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau, Miri Division Youth and Sports officer Mohd Syukeri B. Drahman and sponsor Lee Joon Siong.
The tournament was jointly organised by Miri Division Youth and Sports Office and City Sports.
