Pescara and Montesilvano are the capital of futsal. From Thursday 28th February until Sunday 3rd March at Pala Giovanni Paolo II and at PalaRoma the national cup will be played for Serie A Male, Serie A Female and U21. The Italian newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport have dedicated ample space to coverage of futsal. The “rosea”, il Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport have allocated a whole page to the festival.

Today, Thursday 28th, opens with the derby between Lazio and Cogianco Genzano. Afterwards Acqua & Sapone-Fiderma play Marca Futsal. Asti and Montesilvano is the next game and the final fixture of the day is Alter Ego Lupaense against Pescara. The competition will continue on Saturday 2nd March with the Semi-Finals at 18.00 (RaiSport2) and 20.30 (RaiSport 1). The grand final for the privilege of lifting the Italian Cup for 2012-2013 edition will take place on Sunday 3rd March at 19.00 (Live on RaiSport 2). All games are held at Pala John Paul II.

The U21 Final Eight promises to be no less spectacular with many players who are playing regularly for the first team. The quarter finals, which will be played on Friday March 1st at Pala John Paul II, are as follows Lc Poker X Martina-Kaos Futsal at 10.00; Futsal Potenza-Torrino Sporting Club at 12.00; Consorzio Edil Nord Reggiana-Real Amalfi at 18.30 and Atletico ArzignanoCornedo-Asti at 20.30. The semi-final matches will take take place on Saturday March 2nd at Palaroma at 14.00 and 16.00. The grand final will be played on Sunday March 3rd at 14.00 at Pala John Paul II.

Also on Friday March 1st the Women's competition begins. The quarter-finals, held at Palaroma, are the following: Lupe-Lazio at 14.00; Ita Fergi Matera-Sinnai at 16.00; Italcave Real-Statte Sporteam at 18.30 and Az-Pro Gold Women Reggina at 20.30. The semi-finals are scheduled for Saturday 2nd March at 11.00 and 15.30 at Pala John Paul II. The final will be held on Sunday 3rd March at 16:30 at Pala John Paul II.
