This Saturday 19th January will see the two heavyweights of Latvian futsal meet in the big derby between FC Raba and FK Nikars.
With Nikars leading the table by 6 points it is essential for Raba to earn a victory if they want to challenge Nikars domination by finishing the regular season in 1st position.
Nikars have signed Orlando Duarte, the former Portugal coach, to take charge of the team and increase the Portuguese flavour of the team. However FC Raba have not being quiet in the winter transfer market either with a signing no-one foresaw. Arnaldo, the Portuguese captain, has made the switch from Nikars to Raba and with his first game against his former club it will add an bit of extra spice to an already enticing encounter.
