Schools set off in bid to reach futsal finals

SCHOOLS from Plymouth have begun their campaign to reach the finals of a national futsal competition.

Ten under-14 boys teams have been competing in the local qualifiers for the FA's national youth futsal festival.

After the first round of games, Eggbuckland A top Group A and Plymstock A lead the standings in Group B.

It was those two teams who produced the two highest scores of the opening round, with Eggbuckland A winning 5-1 against Plymstock B, while Plymstock A beat Eggbuckland B 6-0.
