The seven years experience of Jouni Pihlaja at the head of the Finnish National team went to the end in the last days of 2012, with the final friendly game played and won in Estonia on past November 18th. The new coach will come from abroad, as the finnish futsal committee has decided to appoint former Croatia Mico Martic for nine months, with his contract to keep on running should Finland enter the final stage of Futsal Euro - Belgium 2014.

Martic will also take charge of the finnish coaches formation in the mentioned period, keeping also his bench in the croatian first division club MNK Alumnus.
