Iain HowiePerth Youth Futsal sessions continue tonight at the North Inch Community Campus from 7-9.30pm for players aged eight to 13.
The Bells Sports Centre has action for players aged 14 to 17 years old, with the PYF Academy session on from 7-8pm, the U16 league from 8-9pm, and the U18 league from 9 -10pm.
The club sent a team to Belgium for the annual futsal tournament in Lommel. The team lost 1-0 in the second knockout stage to the eventual Romanian winners and finished 11th in the 48-team event - the highest placing PYF has recorded at the event after seven years of participating.
Highlights were the 6-0 trouncing of a Danish team and a 4-3 comeback win against a French team after being 3-0 down with less than four minutes on the clock.
On Monday Perth Youth Saltires produced a below-par performance but secured a draw against Zenit St Johnstoun in their Scottish Futsal League game. Perth Saltires recorded a comfortable win against the Glen Bar to maintain their place at the top of the table.Both teams are in action next week.
