Phuket GazettePearl set to shock ‘Lightning Shrimp’Saturday, December 8, 2012PHUKET: The island's professional futsal team, the "Andaman Pearl", face a tough away fixture against the Surat Thani Futsal Club, nicknamed the ‘Lighting Shrimp", tonight.
Patt Srivijit, assistant coach of Phuket United, told the Gazette that the game against their southern rivals will be a big match, but he hopes the team use this game to push up the league.
"Our aim is to finish in the top five of Thailand’s Futsal League, even though we are a new team this season.
"The team is improving tactically, and we are doing fitness training for Thai and foreign players everyday. Phuket United will be ready for the kick off with Surat Thani.
" I hope the fans support our team forever. We work hard for the fans, for the club, for everyone," he said.
The match will be played at Surat Thani's 4,000 seat Indoor Sports Complex tomorrow at 6pm.
