The FA.comEuro preparation beginsWednesday, 05 December, 2012ENGLAND FUTSAL SQUAD ARE IN NORWAY FOR A MINI-TOURNAMENT THIS WEEKEngland Futsal face two games this week as they bring 2012 to a close with a mini-tournament in Norway.
Peter Sturgess and his squad are in Bode, where they will play Denmark on Thursday and then take on the host nation on Friday.
The tournament comes on the back of yesterday's UEFA Futsal European Championship draw, which saw the Three Lions paired with Lithuania and Cyprus in the Preliminary Round which takes place in late January.
So this trip comes at a good time for Sturgess in order to work with his players and put the first steps of preparation for the Euros together.
"We are approaching a busy period for the national squad as the final preparations for the Euro qualifiers in late January 2013," revealed the Head Coach.
"The squad is fitter than it has ever been and more determined than ever to perform to the highest level.
"If this is good enough to take us through to the next phase so be it, but the development of the national squad and the game in England will continue whilst we strive to build a solid foundation for the game of Futsal in this country."
England will also have another chance to prepare in early January, when they travel to Malta for another round of games against the likes of Georgia, Greece and the hosts.
Their next fixtures on home soil take place on 8 and 9 February when Turkey are the visitors to the Sporthouse Arena in Barking,
