Though pitch results are still to be improved at this stage, Venezuela is surely one of the "Main Queens" in the Women World Cup story, having participated in all the three tournaments played till now, as happens for Brazil, Russia, Spain, Portugal and Japan.

The historical coach Milagro Infante is leading the team since its birth in 2003 and, with respect to the previous world cup participations, will travel towards Oliveira de Azemeis with a younger team (13 players "only"), looking to reach the semifinals.

Their first game in Group A will take place tomorrow at 17.00, against the debutants Iranian girls, then Maria Pulido and mates will face hosts Portugal, Japan and finally world champions Brazil.
