Daily ExpressYouth Futsal Open on Nov 10Friday, October 05, 2012Kota Kinabalu: A cash prize of RM1,500 awaits the winner of the inaugural Youth Futsal Open organised by Innoprise Capital Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Yayasan Sabah Group at the Yayasan Sabah Futsal Arena on Nov 10.
The runner-up will receive RM1,000 while the losing semi-finalist will each receive RM500.
Organising chairman Abas Ali said on Thursday that the main purpose of the competition is to help the society to produce more healthy youths with intelligent minds as well as giving them the opportunity to showcase and further their talents through the sport.
He said the competition is open to boys between 13-17-year-old on January 2012 and each team is allowed to register 10 players.
The match will be held from 8am - 6pm and it will be a league system in the early rounds where the top two teams from each group will be played in a knockout system from then on.
