JUNIOR SPORTS STAR: Soccer champion and all-rounder

YOUNG Hayden Dalmazio, of Harrington Park, is a sports all-rounder whose enthusiasm is driven by his competitive spirit.

On the back of some outstanding sporting achievements, mum Michelle nominated the 10-year-old for the Macarthur Chronicle Junior Sports Star with the praise: "Hayden is an all-round sportsman who gives all sports his 100 per cent. He absolutely loves competing."

Hayden balances loyalties between soccer, futsal, swimming, athletics and cross country, and has enjoyed success in all disciplines.

On the football field, he is a member of the Macarthur Rams under-11s skills acquisition league as well as a similar program with Football NSW.

"He also made the Razorback soccer team for this area and competed in the Sydney southwest area boys' soccer championships this year and won the tournament," Michelle Dalmazio said.

Hayden also recently trialled at the Mt Druitt Town Rangers Futsal Club and was selected to be a part of the club's development squad.

The youngster also represented his school at zone level this year in swimming, athletics and cross country. He is a committed member at Atlantis Swimming Academy where he swims in the squad group.
