Women Futsal from Chinese TaipeiTaipei-SCSC Club Women’s Team can plan its future from a strengthened position as
2012 champions of Taiwan.
The Club established the women’s team less than 5 years ago, but could hardly do more during this short period: in the last 4 editions of Taiwan National Championship, this is their 3rd champions trophy.
"This is certainly an important accomplishment. The players done a great job not only for the club, but also for the development of women’s Futsal in Taiwan." Taipei-SCSC coach
Fatih Kale said .
"We've worked hard for the last 4-5 years but now we have to sit down and figure it out how to take it to the next level on international stage in Asia." "Of course, we would like to represent Taiwan in the 2013 Asian Indoor Games," said Taipei-SCSC pivot
Yu-Hui Lin who together with defender
Hsueh-Hua Lee had the opportunity to train with
Kick-Off Femminile in Milan (Italy) for 2 months in the beginning of this year.
"Our experience in Italy was very important for us. We learned so much at Kick-Off, Riccardo Russo made us realize, we have got what it takes” Next, the club is planning to play some friendly matches against
Japanese teams in Japan, to assess the strength of the team.
“Japan is leading the women’s Futsal movement in Asia. This will be a good test for our players” said coach Fatih Kale,
“Financially we are able to execute our plans, no problems there. But we hope the Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA) would support our efforts, and create a Women’s Futsal National Team as soon as possible. Women’s Futsal in Asia is in it’s early stages and we would like to be in the leading group”Yu-Hui Lin scores, Hsueh-Hua Lee, left, on the move (Photo courtesy: Taipei-SCSC)
