Futsal taster class

FOLLOW in the footsteps of some of football's biggest stars by taking part in a new futsal class in Grimsby.

Young locals have the chance to get a taste for futsal, a small-sided form of football, on weeknights at the YMCA in Peaks Lane.

Recognised by Fifa and Uefa, futsal is credited with improving players' footballing control and technique.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are among the leading stars in football that are known to have roots in futsal.

Futsal taster sessions for youngsters aged between 14 and 16 begin at the Peaks Lane venue on Thursday, July 26.

Six classes will be held, on subsequent Mondays and Thursdays, between 4pm and 5pm. Each session costs £1 per person. For more details, contact kevin Bryant at kevin@futsal.org.cuk
