The WAFFWAFF executive committee decisionsAmman – West Asian Football Federations (WAFF) executive committee met in Amman, on Saturday 30 June 2012, and made important decisions.
Following the decisions of Ex-co:
1- Approval of minutes of previous meeting.
2- Formation of competitions committee, chaired by HE Sheikh Ali Khalifa Al Khalifa, with the following members: Salah Ramdan (Syria), Feisal Al Dakhil (Kuwait), Saleem Al Shamsi (UAE), Ali Al Naimi (Qatar), Tareq Kayyal (Saudi Arabia), Ahmad Aidrous (Yemen) and Mahmoud Al Johari the committee consultant.
3- Reformation of Finance and Marketing committee, after the withdrawal of Mr. Mohammad Al Rumaithi from chairing the committee. HE Sheikh Talal Al Fahd Al Sabah was named as the new chairman.
4- Formation of the committee for soliciting marketing bids for WAFF championships (Tenders Committee) under the chairmanship of HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein.
5- Approval of Palestine bid to host WAFF fifth Women Championship (25 April – 10 May 2013).
6- Approval of Palestine bid to host WAFF fourth youth U15 Championship (15-30 August 2013).
7- Approval of Statutes draft as per recommendations of "Statutes amendment committee).
8- Discus WAFF General Secretary report on AFC meeting with Asian regional federations, to enhance cooperation between Asian Football family, and strengthen regional federations role.
9- Send suggestions to Competitions Committee to discuss possibility of creating new beach soccer championship as per Iran FA proposal, and organize
WAFF Futsal championship every year as per Lebanon FA proposal.
