Anapol win Maksak ladies futsal tourney

SIBU: Anapol emerged champion in the Maksak ladies futsal held at Bukit Lima Stadium here recently.

The first runners-up went to Last Five, followed by One Team Rondo and Private.

The tournament’s best player was Nor Hanifah Mohiden from Anapol while Dovina Bung Let from VA was the top scorer.
The champion team took home RM1,00 first runners-up RM700, second runners-up RM400 and third runners-up RM300.
In the primary school category, SEDC Mantis was champion, followed by SK Sentosa 2, Puteri Rejang Park and SK Sentosa 1.
The best player from the primary school section went to Connie from SK SEDC Mantis.

In his brief closing remarks, Lanang MP Datuk Tiong Thai King said the championship helped to foster closer rapport among the civil servants.

A total of 17 teams took part in the Maksak ladies futsal championship organised by Sibu Maksak Ladies.
Four schools took part in the primary school category.
The organiser was grateful to Temenggong Vincent Lau Lee Ming, Lanang MP Datuk Tiong Thai King and those who had contributed financially for the cash prizes. They were also thankful to the Daesim Supermarket, Blue Sky Mukah and Avail beauty Sdn. Bhd for sponsoring the hampers.
