Crushers shut out Cobras in men's futsal

The Orange Crushers kept their vibrancy during play against the Cobras, shutting out their opponents 4-0 in a 2012 IT&E Men's Futsal League match Sunday at the Guam sports complex gym.

The Crushers (3-0), one of three remaining undefeated teams in the league, led the Cobras 2-0 on a pair of Josh Pangelinan goals going into the second half.

With a little more than 12 minutes left in the game, the Crushers extended their lead with a successful Jon Odell penalty kick. Jaime Ortega then iced the Crushers' cake with a goal with less than four minutes left to play after connecting on a loose ball from a kick-in the Cobras (1-2) were trying to clear near the goal.
