EES second-half kicks off Wednesday

Match Commissioners and Local General Coordinators brainstormed issues during their session in EES Part 1 in Kuala Lumpur.
Kuala Lumpur: The AFC Elite Education Seminar 2012 (EES) held for the crème de la crème of Asian football will pick up speed again on Wednesday after Part 1 finished before the Chinese New Year break in the Malaysian capital.

After Part 1 which kicked off on January 9 and focused on competition and refereeing matters, the second half will delve into the fields of futsal, referee instructing, coaching, football for the disabled coaching and more.

Part 2 is also set to boast five new programmes namely the Coach Education Director Workshop, AFC International Youth Seminar / Elite Coaching Instructor Seminar, Futsal Director Workshop, Football Emergency Medicine and Doping Control Course and TSG Panel Seminar. Below is the full course list:

-- Technical Study Group (TSG) Panel: 12-14 February

-- Referee Recruiter Course: 5 February

-- Coach Education Director Workshop: 2-3 February

-- Futsal Director Workshop: 6-8 February

-- Football Emergency Medicine and Doping Control Course: 6-10 February

-- New Referee Instructor Course: 6-7 February

The month-long EES is the biggest sports or football-related educational extravaganza in the continent and is organised by the AFC annually where the top proponents of Asian football get together and update themselves with the latest information to prepare them for the upcoming competitions this year.
