Prieto's boys again in action

On the 6th of January Pablo Prieto, the Spanish coach, landed in the Libyan airport with lots of enthusiasm to continue his work with the African national team and to carry out the international agenda that is ahead in 2012. The Spanish coach had abandoned the country last February due to the conflict in the country. Last November Pablo Prieto had been with the team on the tour of Egypt and Tunisa where the Libyan team had a training camp and played 5 training friendlies.
Included in the competitions that the national team will participate in 2012 are the following:

- Arabian Spring Cup, in Tunisia in February
- African Cup, in Burkina Faso in April (Qualifiers for the 2012 World Cup in Thailand)
- North African Cup, awaiting confirmation of date and location
- World Cup, in Thailand in November

In addition the plan contains a number of tours of Europe.
