KHMER SUPER RED WIN CAMBODIA FUTSAL 2011 CROWN

PHNOM PENH (12 Dec 2011) – Khmer Super Red maintained their composure to lift the Cambodia Futsal 2011 title when they beat Preah Khan Reach FC 13-9 in a thrilling finale that was played out at the National Olympic Stadium.

Buth Savoy carved out a personal best for Khmer Super Red with a hat-trick off goals in the sixth, 21st and 24th minute before further goals from So Daravuth (14th and 40th minute), Sok Sor (13th and 36th), Eung Hor (6th and 23rd), Soun Thorn (29th and 33rd), Nasi Sharif (3rd) and Tep Vannaro (4th) clinched the title.

The goalscorers for Preah Khan Reach are Uk Rasin (15th and 37th minute), Ouk Sothy (19th and 31st), Ven Vongpiseth (13th), Meas Phanha (17th), U Ouror (20th), Von Vathanakudom (36th) and an own goal from Sok Sor (38th).

In the meantime, qb took third spot in the championship this year after beating Daniel 12-11.

KHMER SUPER RED TO TAKE ON PREAH KHAN IN CAMBODIA FUTSAL FINAL

PHNOM PENH (5 Dec 2011) – Khmer Supper Red will take on Preah Khan Reach in the final of the Cambodian Futsal League that will be played next week.

In the semi-finals this week, Khmer Supper Red were stretched the distance before they were able to beat Daniel 8-5 as Preah Khan Reach made short work of QB with a devastating 18-3 victory.

Both Khmer Super Red and Preah Khan had been devastating in the preliminary round when they emerged as the best two teams.

Undefeated Khmer Super Red won seven out of nine matches while Preah Khan scored six victories with two defeats.
