PPJ triumph in PMM futsal championship

MIRI: PPJ FC won the Futsal Challenge Trophy of Persatuan Melayu Miri (PMM) which was held over the weekend at Piasau Jaya Phase 1.
In the inaugural futsal competition hosted by PMM in collaboration with Miri Piasau Jaya Phase 1 Committee Neighbourhood, the champions defeated ‘Kalau Bulan Bisa Ngomong’ (KBBN) team 2-1 in penalty shootout.

RND Uperk Ent finished third after defeating Tenang Ajak team 3-1 in play-off.

PPJ FC walked home with RM500, PMM challenge trophy and medal, whereas KBBN received RM350, trophy and medal.
RND Uperk Ent team received RM250, trophy and medal. A total of 24 teams participated in the tournament.

The prizes were presented by PMM deputy chairman Putit Abang Tuah.
